Procedure
Placement will contact Spectrum to ascertain if there is an available bed. If so, Children's Aid will forward pertinent intake material such as Psychological assessments, previous Plans of Care, social & family history to Spectrum. Spectrum will notify Children's Aid within 24 hours if the child/youth being proposed is suitable for one of its programs. At that time arrangements will be made for placement visits (if deemed appropriate), and admission date.
